Lately we’ve been working a lot with the Schaeffer Eye Center, who as everyone knows, is the leader in Alabama eye care.
We’ve completed projects for 5 out of their 11 Birmingham locations, including the Colonnade, Inverness, Pelham, Hoover, and English Village, which just recently opened. We’ve also done work at their Five Points location.
Once we got to speaking with the client, the first thing we realized is that Dr. Schaeffer is an incredibly visual person. (Imagine that!) Showing him a proof just wasn’t enough for him to visualize what the custom wall art would look like around the office.
To give Dr. Schaeffer what he needed in order to know if he was truly going to like the wall art, Carrie Evans, our Graphics Designer and Account Executive, stepped in to help.
She went and measured the walls of the office where the art would go and used her graphic design skills to show him for placement only (FPO) images of exactly how it would look. This way, he would have a much better idea of what the final pieces would look like.

Once he saw the FPO images, he was ready for us to get to work!
Custom wall art with of their logo was put up around the office. While using this custom wall art as signage isn’t typical, it turned out great!
We also did custom frames made of plexigl
as to hold their Crawfish Boil Posters with an edge stand-off, which makes the frame stand one inch off of the wall. And a major benefit of these custom mounted frames is if they ever wanted to change out the poster and put another one in there that could easily be done.
We also did signage on the wall outside of each room and custom hanging signs for the different Eyewear brands they carry.
