These new printers provide improved stacking and larger hard drives with outstanding operating convenience in an exceptionally small footprint. With easier paper loading (front accessible), a redesigned control panel, new accounting functions and Gigabit Ethernet support, these printers are built to make large format printing easier and more powerful than ever.
Additional new features of the series include:
- Flat Stacker/Basket: Keep your papers in neat order. The new Canon printers allow you to neatly stack up to 20 24”x36” prints.
- Interface Lock: Make sure your files are safe with the system’s enhanced security features, including administrative control so you can give access to who you wish – and no one else. You’re also able to protect your USB 2 and Ethernet connections.
- Sub-Ink Tank System: Nothing ruins a print job like running out of ink mid-project. But that’s not a problem with the new Canon system. The imagePROGRAF system allows you to replace ink cartridges on the fly, without interrupting printing.
- Job Accounting Manager: Easily keep track of costs per project or client with the Print Job Accounting function, which calculates costs of ink and media and can be exported to a .csv file.
