The 2022 USFL season was the inaugural season of the United States Football League. Earlier this year, the city of Birmingham and the USFL announced that the city would host all eight teams and that their regular-season games would be played at Protective Stadium and Legion Field. The season began April 16th and concluded with the play-off and championship games taking place at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton, Ohio.
Alabama Graphics was thrilled to have the opportunity to be part of this inaugural season by providing signage for the stadiums. Our Sales Representative, Lauri Newton worked with Fox Sports on this project. We were asked to measure the stadiums, provide mock-ups, handle all printing and installation.
This was an 11-week installation project with various size signage and banners. Because Protective Stadium is a shared venue, we were also responsible for removing the banners when needed for other events. We also installed banners at Legion Field and for the playoff games, we finished the project in Canton, Ohio.
