The Honda Indy Grand Prix of Alabama, in its 12th year in Birmingham, took place at the world- famous Barber Motorsports Park April 29-May 1. This three-day event featured the same cars and drivers as the Indy 500 competing on the 2.38-mile road course. Pato O’Ward took home the win and will head into May at Indianapolis Motor Speedway with the momentum to be pegged as a serious contender for his first Indy 500 win on May 29.
