Alabama Graphics was recently named to the Wide-Format Imaging Magazine 2012 Top Shops list, a group of 40 of the best printing shops in North America. Alabama Graphics was listed at number 14.
This year, Wide-Format Imaging focused on profits and margins – a good indicator of the success of a print shop, especially in a down economy. Many of the shops included in the Top 40 have also grown their business through investing in new technology and social media efforts – two areas where Alabama Graphics has excelled.
“Our recent inclusion in Wide-Format Imaging Magazine’s Top Shops of 2012 is a direct result of several years of fine tuning our processes, improving on our delivery times and adding new equipment that helps us become more efficient with better quality,” says Alabama Graphics CEO John Davis.
“It’s also a reflection on our sales and production staffs that have really made it happen,” he says. “Our goal is to solve customers’ problems related to color output and fulfillment. We like to take a project from conception to production and fulfillment, which takes the distribution burden off the client, letting them concentrate on their core business.”
The group also recognized Alabama Graphics as one of five shops on the list that has been in business for more than 50 years. The company has been in business since 1956.
Of the Top 40, only 6 – including Alabama Graphics – are located in the Southeast.
