ASPIRE Sports Institute, located within The Finley Center at Hoover Met Complex, focuses on the development of athletes by creating an athlete-centered environment by focusing on six core principles (ASPIRE):

ASPIRE also houses the National Center for Sports Safety (NCSS) as well as Drayer Physical Therapy Institute, Rest and Recovery Lab and a future sports performance center. ASPIRE Sports Institute was designed by Jim Huckestein with Hendon + Huckestein Architects working closely with Dr. Lemak. Mr. Huckestein sought out the expertise of Lauri Newton with Alabama Graphics to design, produce, and install the 31-panel wall mural for the facility.
