Project Spotlight: ASPIRE

DSC_6137ASPIRE Sports Institute, located within The Finley Center at Hoover Met Complex, focuses on the development of athletes by creating an athlete-centered environment by focusing on six core principles (ASPIRE):

Attitude is everything

Safety is priority

Performance is maximized

Innovation is encouraged

Research is limitless

Education is power

ASPIRE also houses the National Center for Sports Safety (NCSS) as well as Drayer Physical Therapy Institute, Rest and Recovery Lab and a future sports performance center.  ASPIRE Sports Institute was designed by Jim Huckestein with Hendon + Huckestein Architects working closely with Dr. Lemak.  Mr. Huckestein sought out the expertise of Lauri Newton with Alabama Graphics to design, produce, and install the 31-panel wall mural for the facility.
