This week we are eager to highlight Courtney Chestner who is the Prepress Coordinator at Alabama Graphics. Courtney has been with us for a little over two years.
Her daily responsibilities include setting up orders to get them print-ready for production, which includes checking drawings against index, specs against the table of contents, and renaming projects for archive. She also assists coworkers on the floor printing orders and packaging for distribution.
We asked Courtney a few questions to get to know her a little bit better:
Q: What is your favorite part about working at Alabama Graphics?
A: The company is so family-oriented and even the customers are too! It’s like a big family.
Q: Who’s your biggest role model?
A: Kelli Tinsley!! Our VP here at ALGX. Simply because she is the perfect example of a woman who worked her way up.
Q: Tell us three words that describe you?
A: Honest, dependable and out going.
Q: What’s something most people would be surprised to learn about you?
A: I am a big Jazz fan. I love Jazz Music.
Q: Tell us a little about your life outside of work.
A: I am a mother of 4 boys striving for nothing but the best!
