The UAB Police Department recently moved into a new headquarters building at 14th Street and 11th Avenue South. The new building is twice the size of the old headquarters, allowing the department to consolidate operations into one place, as there were previously three locations.
Alabama Graphics worked with local architects, Turner Batson as well as Wyatt General Contracting to produce a replica of the UAB Badge in the new building. The replica is 72” in diameter with two layers for a dimensional appearance. Alabama Graphics printed, zund cut, and installed the replica in a stairwell.
The UAB Police Department loves the badge replica and has since ordered several other sizes to be displayed throughout the new headquarters.
