Established in 1993, The Exceptional Foundation serves mentally and physically challenged individuals in the Greater Birmingham, Alabama area. Year- round services are provided to individuals with special needs over the age of 21, who no longer receive programming from schools.
Since 2004, a chili cookoff has been held as a fundraiser for the programs provided at The Exceptional Foundation. This year marked the 14th Annual Chili Cookoff, held at Brookwood Village.
All of us at Alabama Graphics were excited to produce and donate the signage for this year’s event as well as participate in the chili cooking! We had 4 designated cooks, and 15 of our staff members to serve and help with the event. Being our first year to cook chili, we were rather proud to place in the top 50! We made traditional ground beef chili with all the fixings!
