ALGX is excited to welcome Alex Gouin as our newest Account Executive at our Birmingham office. In his new role, Alex will help supply current and potential customers with the digital color systems and equipment that best suit their needs.
Before joining us, Alex earned his Bachelor’s Degree from The University of North Alabama. During his time there, he worked as an Advertising Consultant for the University’s newspaper, The Flor-Ala. Once graduating, Alex became a Multi-line Representative/Insurance Agent for State Farm in Tuscumbia where he was licensed in property and casualty insurance.
To get to know him a little better, we asked him a few questions.
What about the company made you want to work here?
When I had my first interview here I got the vibe that it was a very friendly, welcoming environment. There are people that’ve worked here for more than 25 years, and I think that says a lot about the company. Also, when I came in I was directed to the Solutions Room where we have displays of all the services we offer, and I was completely blown away.
In this new position, what are you most looking forward to?
I’m looking forward to expanding the company, as well as expanding my skills. I’m also looking forward to getting out there and creating relationships with current and potential clients.
Give us 3 words that describe you.
Charismatic, outgoing and personable. I think those qualities help me build strong relationships with those that I work with.
What’s something we’d be surprised to learn about you?
Everyone thinks that it’s really strange and un-American of me, but I don’t like cheese – at all.
