The annual Susan G. Komen North Central Alabama Race for the Cure will be held Saturday, October 11, in Birmingham. We’re very proud to say that one of our own Account Executives, Lauri Newton, will be running in the race!
The Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, the largest 5K in Alabama, helps provide lifesaving mammograms for women in need in the Birmingham area. And with this reputable organization you know that all the money raised will go to research, education, screening and treatment programs.
Come out and make a difference as you celebrate survivors, honor those who’ve lost their battle and be a part of raising the vital funds and awareness that’s needed to fight this life threatening disease.
Register online by Friday, October 10th or at Brookwood Village from 10 am to 6 pm. If can’t register by Friday, no worries, you can register the day of the Race! And as the organizations says, “Whether you run, walk, stroll, ‘sleep in’ or come out to celebrate a loved one, you can contribute to the fight against breast cancer by registering for the Susan G.
