Since 2011, Secret Stages, Birmingham’s Music Discovery Festival, has brought thousands of people each year to downtown Birmingham. This year, the event will be held on August 1st and 2nd, and our account executive here at Alabama Graphics, Lauri Newton, has been working on multiple projects for the upcoming festival.
Printing Secret Stages posters and postcards, along with banners and event signs, has gotten everyone here at Alabama Graphics fired up for the event!
Being the fourth year for this pub-crawl style festival, its goal remains to introduce attendees to a wide variety of up-and-coming Southeastern musical talent. Bands come from, not only Birmingham, but all over the nation to perform. Secret Stages is even calling this year their “most diverse lineup yet.”
Captain Green, Future Elevators, Playdough and Skoolie Escobar are just a few of the acts set to perform. Don’t know who they are? Then you should make your way to the event. You never know how big these bands will be in the near future!
It’s not just a fun time either. Secret Stages recently announced their plans to donate 20% of profits from the festival to a non-profit organization called Scrollworks Youth Music School. Scrollworks provides music education to youth in Central Alabama.
