The Regions Tradition is an official major championship on the Senior PGA Tour. This year the event took place May 16-20 at Greystone Golf & Country Club. The Regions Tradition prides itself on giving back and has raised over $4.5 million for area charities since 2011. Its primary beneficiary is Children’s of Alabama which provides medical care for ill and injured children across the state and throughout the southeastern U.S. Continue reading
The UAB Police Department recently moved into a new headquarters building at 14th Street and 11th Avenue South. The new building is twice the size of the old headquarters, allowing the department to consolidate operations into one place, as there were previously three locations. Continue reading
Alabama Graphics recently worked with our newly elected Mayor Randall Woodfin’s office to install a new “wall” in the city hall office. It portrays the rich history of Birmingham with historical and iconic images including: Sloss Furnaces, the Birmingham skyline, Alabama Theatre, Rotary Trail, Magic City Classic, Vulcan, and Carver Theatre. The Birdies for Babies is a golf tournament put on by Baptist Health Care. The Benefit helps support the Neonatal Intensive Care Units at Baptist Health. Alabama Graphics was asked to help with adding more value to the Foundation Golf Tournament by adding hole sponsorship signage rather than just keeping the standard sign on stake. Continue reading
